ABOUT

Hi, I'm June!  Creator and Author behind Juniper's Castle.

A lover of fantasy and escapism, I started writing short stories during the height of the pandemic's isolation measures in 2020. 

​

I began a series of adventure plot lines, featuring an unconventional Princess figurehead, and inspired by my favorite quest style RPGs like Dungeons and Dragons and The Legend of Zelda game series. 

​

Other inspirational sources for my writing and Juniper's character come from some of my favorite recording artists and their music: Taylor Swift's Folklore, Delta Goodrem's Child of the Universe, and Lindsey Stirling's Artemis album have all been recurring soundtracks to my creative process.  

​

Naturally, I also love a great fantasy story.  Favourite reads I have encountered from childhood to present day have also inspired me greatly: The Chronicles of Pyrdain, Harry Potter, and the ACOTAR series, to name a few.

​

And, of course, epic film and television series have also been a huge influence on my vision for Juniper and my own person brand of storytelling: Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, Ever After, and of course all things Disney.  I also must acknowledge my favorite cross overs into Sci-Fi: Stranger Things and LOST.

​

It is my dream one day to turn Juniper's story into a best selling novel series. Even better, I would love for that novel series to be made into a television or film series like many before it. 

​

In the meantime, to give life and face to Juniper and her misadventures, I have created social media platforms to represent Juniper (which you can find linked throughout this website).  Or, if you prefer to search manually, Junipers_Castle is my main handle on all platforms at this time.  

​

When I'm not creating or consuming fantasy content of all sorts, I enjoy many outdoor activities like hiking, water sports and exploring our local coastal areas.  I live in New England with my husband and our two dogs, who often feature as Juniper's magical pets. 

​

I hope coming here, or where ever you prefer to interact with Juniper's Castle content, brings you as much joy and I take in creating it.  Thanks for being a part of such a meaningful community!
